    This workshop series can help you make food choices that promote good health, maintain a healthy weight, and prevent disease. You will acquire the skills and knowledge needed to make healthy, nutritionally sound choices that lead to a better quality of life. Each workshop offer basic nutrition, hands-on learning, and cooking demos to promote healthy changes in diet. These workshops will teach how to make small changes in your diet (reduce sugar, salt, fats and calories) combined with adequate physical activity add up to improved health. Ages 12 and up. September 12 - Enjoy Healthy Food That Tastes Great September 19 - Quick Healthy Meals and Snacks September 26 - Eating Healthy on a Budget October 3 - Tips for Losing Weight and Keeping It Off October 10 - Making Healthy Eating Part of Your Total Lifestyle October 17 - Physical Activity is Key to Living Well

    If you are living with diabetes or are a caregiver of someone who does, this workshop is for you! Diabetes self management workshops are interactive learning opportunities that teach techniques to manage common symptoms. Workshops are free and led by trained leaders. Ages 16 and older. No class June 8.
