Formed out of the old "6th grade center" in Derby at 309 N. Woodlawn, The Hubbard Arts Center is the newest addition to the Derby Recreation Commission! The center is the dedicated home of the beloved "ArtSpot," DRC art programs. ArtSpot has dedicated spaces for multiple art forms including 2D and 3D art, pottery, painting, glass fusing, culinary arts, and dance (in Studio H) to name a few.
Also included is a commercial grade demonstration kitchen called "The Kitchen", a digital media studio called "The Cove", and a large multipurpose room (The Gallery). The Gallery will be home to Rec Station as well as a rental space for weddings and family/business gatherings. "Innovation East and West" are business meeting spaces available to rent. More information about facility rentals will be available in Fall of 2020.

The Kitchen is a teaching a learning kitchen for all ages and levels. Baking, seasonal cooking, cultural cooking, quick & easy, and sweet treats, just to name a few, will be made in our educational kitchen.
Studio H is a space for dance and multipurpose.
The Gallery is a community gathering space! This room will be the home base for Recreation Station. It will also be a rentable space open to the public for gatherings and events.
The Innovation East & West is one big meeting room that can be converted for two. Used for DRC programs and future rental space.
2D Studio and 3D Studios offer painting, drawing, carving, pottery, glass fusing, sculpture, and more!
The Cove is a digital media studio, Podcasting, voice and instrument recording, DJ mixing and more! The possibilities are endless!
